BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND ACCOUNTING SERVICES
Accounting Check-Up - DLB will examine the client’s detailed accounting reports. All questions and concerns regarding discrepancies and potential issues will be discussed with our client.
Financial Statements and desired reports - After reviewing the client’s accounting file, DLB will prepare Financial Statements and additional specialized reports as desired in accordance with GAAP for management review and planning purposes.
Business Check-Up - DLB will evaluate staff members and internal control procedures in order to assist in developing business priorities and goals.
Budget Development and Tracking - DLB will assist the client in the budget development process and will assist in tracking the company’s year-to-date progress compared to the annual budget.
Cash Flow Analysis - DLB will prepare a cash flow analysis based upon current financial statements and the client’s annual budget.
Internal Control Policy Development - DLB will assist the client in creating an Internal Control Policy and Procedures and implementing accountability. DLB will recommend safeguard measures to ensure the client’s assets are secure.
Organizational Development and Job Position Descriptions - DLB will work with the client to develop an organizational map and detailed job position descriptions to ensure that the work load is appropriately distributed and assigned.
Recruiting and Hiring Assistance - DLB will provide assistance in screening and hiring for the client’s staff.
Systems Development - DLB will review the client’s current business policies & procedures and assist in further development of written systems for the client’s ownership. It is our goal for your business to be ensured that each department is working together and functioning effectively.
Skills Test and Temperament Assessment - DLB will conduct accounting skills testing and temperament assessments with desired staff members, providing a report of the results to the business owner. We will determine and recommend the level of training needed per employee
Other Projects - DLB is happy to assist with research or development activities to further develop and enrich your business activities. Meetings should be planned to further discuss specific projects.
Accounting Software Support - DLB will recommend QuickBooks software based upon client needs. DLB will assist with installation, company file set-up, and software upgrading.
Income Tax Review - DLB will attend year-end tax planning meeting and collaborate with client’s Tax Accountant to ensure the Financial Statements accurately reflect the client’s business activities and will submit reports to tax accountant as requested.
Payroll Support - DLB will recommend a payroll service based upon client needs. DLB will assist with payroll set-up with Intuit Assisted Payroll or other professional accounting service.
Transaction Privilege Tax Reports - DLB will prepare state and city Transaction Privilege Tax Reports according to client’s state and city due dates. We also will prepare license applications and correspond with cities/state as needed.
